The original Dragtastic.com climbed to 3.5 million hits per month between 2003-2005 and featured entertainers from all over the globe, columns and celebrity interviews. Power users worked through Dragtastic.com to connect with more than just each other—they used connections to land gigs, appear on the Ricki Lake Show, Maury Povich Show, connect with GLBT print and online media in 8 major US cities, and launch their own syndicated columns, video shows and more.

Dragtastic.com also introduced the first ever online contest for drag performers and web award program for drag enthusiasts. The "Viewer's Choice Entertainer of the Year" brought votes from thousands of people across the US and our website recognition program reviewed hundreds of sites submitted by users for awards.

The new Dragtastic.com was launched in March 2008 after much encouragement from the online community and original founding members. With the aid of brand new technology and a renewed spirit, Dragtastic.com is now focused on member-driven involvement and less internal administration. Combining similar features that users have come to know from companies such as MySpace*, Facebook* and YouTube* with a focused and interactive community centered specifically on drag, the new site promises to be unlike any other out there.
